Reasons for aesthetic and artistc choices : Vocaloids are instruments like violin or piano. That's why I gave her dress inspired by violin. It's also very elegant instrument. Personaly, I always associate France with elegance, class and something pretty. In first version the material wich looks like end of coat was inspired conductor's jacket. Vocaloid voice is as import_ant as conductor, isn't it? Hat is of course beret. Here in my country this hat is associated wth France. Little sakura flowers on hat shows that it might be (will ) also Japanese vocaloid.

Color choice: I decided to give her blue because it's VoxWave's logo color and also color of french flag. Pink was added because of sakura flowers on beret and because this color looks good with navy blue.

In second version of design I removed jacket-like parts because of release of Kanon and Anon. Those twin sister has similar vest endings ( when I was creating first design I didn't knew about them ). Instead of removed part I gave her coat. It's colros aren't inspired by anything. They are just chosed to look good with rest of design.
